I performed and exhibited at Daniel Fogarty's First Oxo Conference at the Malgras|Naudet gallery in Manchester, which ran from 19th - 21st July 2013. I produced a constraint-based piece, using, sequentially, words with the first letter 'o', words with the second letter 'x'. and words with the third letter 'o'. I then effaced the finished piece to produce a visual work, prefacing these two pieces with an illuminating quote from Jacques Roubaud. All three documents are available below.

On the opening night, I performed the second piece and also ran a text generation program, which re-configured the words in it into new sentences. You can see it in action here.

At the close of the performance, I got my phone to read out a sequential collation of jokes found on Twitter featuring the words "laughing stock", punning on Oxo, the stock cube. You can listen to that below. The film has automatic captions. Select the option to watch on YouTube (click the YouTube logo underneath the clip) and turn them on if you want to read what YouTube makes of it.
